Athens Community School COVID-19 plan for 2023-2024
Safety Plan
Packet work will be provided to anyone that is sick.
Staff will be trained in sanitation procedures.
Masks will be purchased as needed for all staff and students. Students and staff can also bring their own from home if they wish.
COVID tests are available upon request.
All custodians and our cook will be trained and have supplies to disinfect as needed.
Students will receive training in hand washing. This skill will be reinforced throughout the year.
Isolation Room - Nurses Office
PPE for all staff as needed.
After being diagnosed with COVID, people can return to school after 5 days but must wear a mask for five additional days.
The school will be cleaned and disinfected daily.
Students will be encouraged to bring water bottles from home or one will be provided. .
Maine Behavioral Health will continue to provide support for students as needed.
